Calling about an accident in the past 3 years. When I asked for more details e.g the insurance company I was with, the caller took a guess and said Direct line. When I told him I wasn t with direct line he said I must be wrong. I told him to consider getting another job and to stop harassing the public, he told me to F*ck off. NICE!

Possible SCAM/SPAM? Asked for a man who I regularly get phone calls for (we must have a similar phone number). Talking about a potential claim for reimbursement following car finance taken out 10-12 years ago. Didn't feel right as I said I did not know the person they were after and they went on to give me what felt like fairly personal information. The man in question seems to be wanted by a lot of solicitors - maybe he's a wrongun - and that phonecall was a front to get access to him?
Hung up as soon as I answered. Tried to call back but it went to a voicemail 'That Baggins' Obviously another scam artist with nothing better to do.
Phoned my mobile. Hung up when I answered. No idea who it was
Fraud: asked about mobile phones 'in this company' - this is a private house. Asked him to wait while I fetched the person responsible and he held on for quite a while - the fool, nice to get my own back on these pests.

This Aberdeen telephone number 01224515010 are SCAMMERS trying to get you to sign up for a new energy plan ect. They scam people from various other telephone numbers don't give them your bank account details. I've reported all their telephone numbers to Action Fraud.

Scam. Would love to know how or where they got my number. Claiming to be HMRC and saying there was a tax fraud investigation against my name and I needed to press 1 - at which point I hung up.

I had a missed call from this number... I called it back. A South African accent answered the phone. I said I had missed a call from them. He said we don t have your number on record, what is your business name? I asked what the nature of their business was before I give out my company information since they called me first. He argued with me and then put the phone down.

I got a call from Michelle Williams from CFS Group and she asked to speak with CEO. She claims it’s not a sales call but “a revenue tax and trade supply matter”. When I asked if she was in contact with the CEO before or if she has his contact details, she replied negatively saying “no, this was just brought to my attention”. She asked if the CEO can give her a call back.
