So I called the number the agent was directing me how to fix it them he said something about payment, I asked how much it was gonna cost to fix so he directed me to download a programme I started to but then got suspicious and hang then google the number hence am here. http://virusprotectionteam.com. SCAM / SPAM - Pretending to be from BT Openreach saying there is a problem with my internet connection. ~Asian voices - lots of chatter in the background - as soon as I said did they want to speak to my boss the Chief Inspector of Police they hung up on me!
This is a Scam ,but unfortunately it was to late for me.It was not untill they phoned me and said that another claim that I was expecting, they said that had come through.But I phoned another no from my paperwork and they told me it was a scam.I called UKASH to put a block on Voucher.But they had used most of it .They also changed one in to Euros.I am now out of pocket ,plus the 6% that UKASH will charge in getting a refund.SO BE AWARE
