SCAM Purporting to be from my bank querying a card usage and asking me to acknowledge by using “press 1 for or press 2 for”
SCAM. Received from 60252. Text was “ Your British Gas boiler service is due. We have an engineer available on Wed Jun 07 2023 AM (0800 - 1300) or PM (1200 - 1800). Reply AM or PM to book or NO for more dates and times. To stop receiving boiler service reminders: reply STOP. We're following all official safety advice. More at britishgas.co.uk/covid19”. If reply, there are no appointments and receive more options, but not available either. Then sends link to signin and organise. Don’t select link!
SCAM Some foreign (Indian as usual) scammer phoned and asked Mr (me by name) I answered yes and they said they were (English name, obviously made up and theirs for the day) and from Life Insurance. Then asked how I was doing and when I replied they just hung up. HOW RUDE! Pity really, as I pride myself on keeping them on the line as long as I can.

Suspected scam related to funding house purchase, claimed to have been asked to contact me by estate agent. Message came via WhatsApp then text.

I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.

Steve called from 01905 570960 claiming to be from EON Next and my gas contract is up for renewal When I explained that EON send our renewal letters and have never called this business once Steve tried to talk over me to convince me that he was our current supplier Its about time the telecom Companies are held accountable when a SCAM company uses its network
Insurance caller had name and house number tried to renew appliance insurance which we dont have!!
Think this is a scam telling me there is unusual activity on my account and asking if I want to authorise it or speak to someone.
Indian guy Said he was from EE trying to reduce my mobile bill, then asked how much Was I paying monthly. I replied you called me claiming your from EE you should have my account details there as you just called me ...He quickly hung up...Definately a scammer SCAM
01613544631 keeps calling from random 0161 numbers with different numbers after that code. Who knows who it is but it's often nearly everyday, so annoying!
