purported to be from O2 hung up immediately and blocked number as have had similar calls regarding my closed o2 account from similar numbers

Not sure if it is a scam, but concerned they knew my name, and what domestic appliances I have. We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details. Told them I don't need their insurance as would by new if beyond economic repair, and the caller seemed surprised that I could fix a recent washing machine problem myself. It's not difficult to change the brushes on the motor or to unblock the filter
these phoned my mobile today, but i was driving so my wife answered. when my wife asked him what he wanted he called her a "fu**ing tw*t" and hung up. i didn t call back to complain because i thought it might be some ?50 per minute phone scam

I told her to take the number off the system and stop calling as boss is not interested. They keep calling - pain in the backside!

SCAM 07435113097 phoned us a couple of days ago, said he was outside with a parcel, but no body was there (and we were not expecting a parcel). The same number has rung for a few days now, but he does not leave a message. Obviously some sort of physhing scam.
01422868897 is the Halifax number for Halifax Bank of Scotland customer services dealing with fraud etc”
