Help to stop cold calls Make it less cost effective for them to cold call. That is the only way to make this stop. Added telephone number to my address book as a "Pest" or whatever you like, so that I can recognize them again. I do this instead of just blocking the number, i.e. answer the call to make the connection and make them pay in money and time. DO NOT talk to them. DO NOT listen to them. Just connect the call and forget about it. Let them talk so it will cost the company money and time. If

Constant calls from this number, they started calling from 0203 3628514. Then switched to this number as I have been ignoring the calls.
Returned a missed call. After talking briefly to a guy in London, I m still non the wiser (horse insurance?) so blocked the number to be on the safe side.
