This number keeps calling my moblle and when I answer there is no-one there, going to block it.

Claimed to be a company called ESS. They said that they were aware that I had a boiler over 10 years old and that they were agents for Zanussi. When I told them that the number was registered with the TPS, the call was disconnected.

Telemarketing
Caller said he was from Sky (my ISP) and the call was about internet connection. There is no reason for Sky to call me from Birmingham, and certainly not with a long delay after I had answered the phone, and definitely not with a strong non-British accent.

Call centre background noise - nobody spoke.
Calls from 01204311988 are from Goodwin Barrett. It’s their call centre. It uses a computer program to ring your number, and if you answer, and an agent is available to talk to you they will, but if not, some hear a ‘goodbye’ some a essage, and some hear nothing. So you can ring them back on their Freephone number, using 141 to make your telephone number appear to them as ‘anonymous’ and definitely at no cost to you.
