called saying they were an official O2 partner and calling on their behalf as I was entitle to upgrade my phone, I actually upgraded 3 months ago. When challenged the guy told me I couldn t have upgraded and all but called mea liar. He hung up when I challenged further. Checked with O2 and nobody calling this number would be representing them, they deal with upgrades on accounts themselves. If they call you hang up
SCAM
Just had a call from this number which I ignored. Called back & got an automated message stating it was British Gas wanting feedback on a recent call. I m not with British Gas and have never called them. I did however call PH Jones so I think perhaps they are connected? Either way the number is getting blocked!

Asked for me to complete a survey for graduates on behalf of my university. I graduated this year. He knew my uni name and my name. Needed no personal information, until he confirmed my email address for the uni alumni team, and then asked for my address which I thought odd, but everything else checked out. He also asked if I would like to be further contacted about the alumni so I believe it was for this reason. The guy confirmed his name and company and asked if I wanted some registered company number
