It is not worth (or possible) to return the call. It is an obvious spoofed number as no local number - after the 01989 would begin with a 0 .

Scam text message pretending to be HSBC bank.
A man called me from this number and said that I had a car accident in front short and he needed my data for insurance. Since I had really short before a car accident, I asked for more detail. But he could not say how the accident expired or looked like the cars to me. He then said that he would have been not at all involved. He ll call for a friend. Why not call the friend himself, he could not tell me. I said that he is ripping off someone else and hung
called 2-3 times today saying that they like to speak to my wife about ppi she claimed I don t know how they got my number as we don t have any credit cards or loans its so annoying makes my blood boil with all these called calling
Frequently have these calls from Asian sounding men and women who become quite aggressive when I ask why they are ringing, told them we have registered with the TPS and to take our number off their list but to no avail. This time I told them know one of that name at this address and they just asked if I was sure. Will be interesting to see if we get any more! Why hasn t someone tracked this number down and charged them with harassment calls?
