I answered the phone. They hung up. You try to ring them back and it says you have reached a number that has been disconnected.

Safe number. Box Communications. Great company I have done business with in the past.
Called once a day for the last few days. Call goes dead as soon as answered. Very annoyed! Phoned back and a message says they are Worldwide Cancer Research and asks for your name and number. Sounds like a scam. I have reported it to Ofcom http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/phone/tackling-nuisance-calls-and-messages/abandoned-and-silent-calls/ and suggest anyone else who gets bothered by this number do the same.

Same as 03303334537 ... phoned after mother contacted local plumber ... sent 2 men, 1 replaced a working boiler, other insisted on cash and drove my mother to bank to withdraw £4000. No receipt, no warranty, no Benchmark book ... or gas certification.
