A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). SPAM Awhile back, this number called me and hung up after several rings. I attempted to call back, but stopped when I realized the number was in perfect sequence. That alarmed me.

An autodialler call with a Foreign Ladies voice pretending to be from Amazon about a £600 charge on my Amazon account press 1 to dispute the charge. i dont have an Amazon account so i hung up and reported the call to Ofcom by sms 7726
Called my mobile and says O2 promotion, but then doesn't know my number to txt me the offer how is that possible!! Got to be a scam and I am not with O2 anyway.
I was told that they were a promotional team working on behalf of BT. They offered me a discount on my BT bill of 45%! Wanted to know how I paid my bill. I told them that as BT had supplied them with my name, address and telephone number they should have supplied them with this information also. There was a long pause, then the line went dead. Incidentally the young lady caller pronounced the letter Z (the last letter of my postcode) as 'zee' - an Americanism.
