I can confirm the data leak came from connection on LinkedIn to a very elaborate, very believable Recruiter profile with good (not perfect) English, legitimate previous employers and experience, 500 plus connections and shared connections to people I know, supposedly working for a Global blue chip recruiter. However, I called the head office. never heard of them, not on their global address book. After connection, this person went silent on LinkedIn but 2 days later I got this call from this fake Manchester
