BEWARE. TOTAL SCAM. Claims to be from virgin media and told me I had a problem with my internet connection, told the Indian woman I didn’t have any problems with my internet connection she hung up. Total scam. Do not give any details over the phone. Virgin media do not tell you you have a problem, you have to contact them. BEWARE!!!

I got called by this number by a company claiming to be switch2web, claiming to be London based but with this false number. I?ve had a string of such calls from numbers all over the uk but clearly originating from India. I suspect they got my details from a domain name registration, but don?t know for sure as so many uk companies use Indian call centres whose staff steal customer details and sell them on. Called 12th and 14th Feb 2022. When I picked up, it sounded like a call centre in the background and the caller was clearly talking to their mates, and they hung up both times. Apparently they are in Trafalgar Sq!

Someone actually called the landline, male with Asian accent claims to be from virgin stating my Internet is not secure and wanting me to get an unsecured device like my Samsung s10 mobile... no chance matey!.... I spoke to him in Welsh but he couldn't comprehend that I might not understand English and kept going with the idea that they would secure my Internet for free and why wouldn't I comply. I already have full Internet security through virgin and they don't phone as account owner is deaf! Blocked!
