1422hrs 23/9/20 Text received purporting to be from Vodaphone and stating that a payment is overdue and, to avoid additional charges, a payment should be made straight away to an https:// address which, according to my computer doesn't exist. As we don't have an account with Vodaphone this seems to be a blatant scam - so BEWARE.

Claim Smart kept calling me (21 times in just over 24 hours), and finally seem to have stopped after I ripped into them. But now this lot have started, so here we go again....
Royal mail scam. They claimed to have tried to deliver a parcel on 11th June but I owed £1.99 postage. According to the tracker, my parcel was still en route from USA and was in Illinois. It didn't arrive in UK until 12th.

Was cold called from this number today - I think it was a scammer - pretending to be a senior network technician from BT wanting to ask me about "error messages from my internet wifi connection". From the questions I was asked, I think it likely they were about to try to get me to give them remote access to my computer. I told them not to phone me again and out the phone down.
Claim to be Microsoft I said no problem with my computer he told me to shut up and listen to him I have a rude reply and hung up
They phone a couple of days after your appliance has been delivered, ask if everything was ok and very cleverly try to sell breakdown cover by making it sound free at first then ask you to confirm your address and bank details to set up a direct debit after being swiftly told where to go they soon said goodbye and hung up

This was definitely a call from a scammer. These use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION to these callers or confirm you...
