ANY CALL about computer problems, your broadband, router, viruses, hacked IP address, your phone line or broadband being disconnected, offering discounts, etc., IS ALWAYS A SCAM...
Box Hill
SCAM had this call yesterday. Caller talked about internet security on BT and couldn't identify himself
Like other comments - when I answer it is a hang up - I now do not answer the call at all
Cold call. Told the woman that she should not be calling as I subscribe to telephone pref service. This objection swept aside. Claimed to be from Microsoft and that my computer has been hacked. Became more forceful as I voiced suspicions. I ended call.

Keep calling, never say a word when answered
SCAM Pops up the number as Karen Elliott, answered and then immediately starts with the typical tax scam. Avoid!

Richard Walters who is claiming to be able to seel some Carbon Credits I bought in 2013 but " first I need to pay a 25% fee for "pecuniary Insurance" to cover it" - I am fairly sure its a scam but can't find any other information
Silent call
Positive number
Asian sounding voice with assumed English name. Saying from BT and a problem with our phone number. Inevitably did not understand my sarcasm and I cut the call. Have had two other hang up calls today, not the same number, but there was a fraction of call centre noise before the hang up.

I've been getting a series of calls from variations of the same first 8 digits '020 3256 5***' Seems extremely fishy so I haven't answered.
