Automated call from VISA asking to press one to cancel payment. Definitely a scam.
SCAM - claimed to be from BT Open Reach querying my Broadband speeds. Line was terrible, but rang off when I started to question them.
SCAM asking to follow a link and update payment details! I don’t even have a contract with them!

Re the preceding post from Deb:- Yet more scamming bar stewards spoofing [fraudulently using] an extension of the Reading Area Code [0118 328]. See previous comments under 0118 ...
I share the views of the two previous comments: this person seems to target elderly people, charges too much and the quality of the work is very poor. He is also aggressive and intimidating.
SCAM Claiming to be from BT open reach technical dept.

Recorded voice telling me that their records show I have still not applied for my refund, but this is not specified as to what refund invited to press 5 to find out more or 9 to have my details removed from list. Recording does not say what Company they are. As I am signed up to TPS I consider this to be an intrusion into my life uninvited.

They have rung me on landline and company mobile several times offering a pension review. Might be legit, but alarm bells rang when they wanted to send someone round with a letter of authority for me to sign so they could assess my pension . Why not send the letters of authority in the mail, unless they are trying to hide who/where they are located? Suspect that if I sign the letter my pension fund would be siphoned away overnight!
