Saying that I owed money/has committed fraud from HMRC on a prerecording. Obviously this is not how a governmental body would get in touch with you on such serious matter

Asian man called Daniel - phoning from Amazon. My tone of voice must have spooked him because he hung up.
They called to say western union had money waiting for me and gave me a reference number. I didn t have time to write it down, but neither I nor anyone we know uses western union, and I don t give my landline number out, it s also ex directory.
Called about an accident id had (news to me!), told him he was talking bollocks and to fuck off. Number blocked.
