I can assure everyone it is Vodafone, it s a Rotherham code number 01709 , that is where the company Webhelp is based. Webhelp have a various of campaigns there, Vodafone being one of the best. I know this myself because I work there.. we only ask questions to do with your current account because we need you to confirm it, meaning we already now it. Still don t believe me?.. Look the number up on the Vodafone website instead of some lame little blog.

I picked up the call. The robotic voice said "Thank you, your number has been verified" and it disconnected by itself. They probably think we will call back again, since it's a premium number.

Had two missed calls with this same area code today. Checked both on here which says it s a scam, purporting to be from Talk Talk about a computer virus. The other number was 01234 615354. Glad I didn t answer.

Tried calling them back and it said incorrect number. Dodgy
Said they were calling from (mumbled) and that thousands of pounds were being taken out of my account which they thought unusual. The dialling code was our local number thought strange but them hung up rang from another 01242 number a few minutes later but ignored
