Typical we believe you have had an accident etc. BS. Politely asked them to hold a minute, then left them on hold till they hung up. Then added number to my barred list. Best action as it costs them money and wastes their time.

Picked up, the line was silent and then started ringing as though I had called the number (I get the feeling this is a reverse charges scam) Someone picked up on the other end after 1 ring said my name then hung up. Number is being blocked - be careful!
When caller said that I had been involved in a car accident (which I hadn t) I suspected a scam - so hung up immediately
