They phone you just after *they* request access to your account via your phone company's website by using the "Forgotten Password" link, so that the real phone company will send an OTC (one-time-code) to your mobile for verification. These criminals then call you saying they're from your phone company and ask for the OTC that you've just received. Caller posing as Three Sales agents, the company doesn't exist on searching the Internet.
Dodgy number. Unsolicited text with message, "Hi Mum, I broke my phone today. Can you please WhatsApp my new number it's an emergency". A complete scam.
