Have been pestered by this number for just over a week now. I spoke with the RAC today, and they are an associate company. All I had to do was phone RAC and ask not to receive the calls - bit of a pain as I didn t want to receive them in the first place though!!!

SCAM automated call from HMRC threatening legal action for unpaid debt.
They have been ringing every half hour or so this afternoon. If I pick up it is silent and they hang up. Who are they??
I have just received a call from this number. The caller had an Indian accent, and did not identify who he was working for. He launched straight into telling me that he was going to change the monthly payment amount on my television. As I am not currently paying any monthly fees for a television, I told him I had no idea what he was talking about. He immediately hung up.
SPAM
I am fortunate that my cordless phone has a "blocked caller "list. So I just put this on there to keep company with all the other timewasters. I am on TPS and exdirectory and not on the for sale electoral register.
Fraud
SCAM - claiming to be from Sky Refund department, saying they were going to pay me back £200. Knew it was dodgy when they confirmed me using my husbands name - the Sky contract is in my unchanged name. Wanted me to confirm my bank name, got quite artsy when I said I would prefer not to, and would rather check with Sky first...
