Male phoned and said he had been tasked with contacting me because I had worked in engineering. When I told him I had never worked in this sector, he closed the call. It is apparent from other messages here that this is a claims management company trawling for possible clients.

SCAM They call with an automated/robotic female American voice calling themself "Dennis Grey", claiming to be from inland revenue threatening you to get a solicitor or you'll be prosecuted (they don't say for what) and to call them back immediately on 02039174255. It's very obviously fake, but an elderly or vulnerable person may fall victim of it.
