SCAM - sent message pretending to be AMEX with a passcode for a purchase and to call a number if I hadn't made the purchase (which I hadn't). Called American express on their actual number - The message was not from them. It is a phishing text.Fraud

Recorded message purportedly from Amazon. Female, saying that they are renewing my account and taking money from my bank account. I had the same call yesterday but from a different number. I have blocked the number with BT.
I had a missed call from this number while I was at work. I don't answer unknown numbers especially in work time.

just received a call from this number saying they are from BT and checking fault asking for personal information
They left no message and, when I called them back it's just "The number you are calling has not been recognised" .. so there we have it, pilgrims .. a virtual guarantee that this is surely, just one of) the SCAMMERS LATEST 'phone numbers - Beware!!
