This number is from Lloyds bank customer service department, they are based in the town of Halifax West Yorkshire U.K
So this is an Automated Scam call for HMRC. Silence for the first 3 seconds, then Blah Blah,.... National Insurance number being stopped. Very poor description for a Phishing call. Best to add to the blocked call list.

Had 6 phone calls today no message left so blocked the number only for it to ring again with the didget changed
This number seems to be used for a general call centre of a general purpose, they profit on marketing of any goods or services. Better refuse to answer - it should be also a silent call (testing itf the number is answering). Sometimes it is connected with Npower or Welcome Finance.

Asked if I was interested in particular insurance, I told them I don't discuss private information with anonymous callers , they said ok and they would email me , ..... then asked for my email address.... I said you should have it already ...... long pause
