Yet another call to my mobile which I chose not to answer.

Call center. This is GFK. NOT the NHS asking about your Covid vaccinations, as the caller claimed. It is a marketing company. After the vaccination discussion, the caller started asking about life insurance.
If enough people lodge formal complaints with the Information Commissioner s Office (ICO) by phoning 0303 123 1113 to provide details of calls from 0160320019 something can be done. Automated calls sent to you without permission, irrespective of whether you are TPS registered, are a breach of the rules. The ICO recently fined a marketing company £440,000 for spamming. Wouldn t it be nice if the agency could achieve something similar here. So do something about it.

Scammer calls in an automated-message saying that if you don't pay your "taxes" they will come and arrest you. Don't fall for this nonsense. HM Revenue and Customs will NEVER cold-call you, email you or text you about your taxes. You will not be arrested. They use this as a scare tactic to lure you into talking with them/paying them. And last but not least, HM Revenue and Customs obviously knows your name. These scammers obviously don't. So if you're suspicious, just ask: "
SCAM I don't know anyone from that part of the UK. I hadn't picked up the phone. Probably a call from strangers hoping that I'll return the call, which will have a huge fee, that goes directly to their bank account.
Scammer, under the disguise of BT Open Reach.
SCAM A woman with a heavy foreign acsent saying she was from BT and needed to talk me through doing a procedure on the computer to fix Broadband. If I didn't do it I would be banned from having Broadband.
