Some idiot, sounded Asian saying someone had drawn £600 from my account using my MasterCard please press 1 to stop it. I don’t even have a MasterCard. The number doesn’t seem to exist. How can BT with all their technology not stop this happening.

When I answered the call is was quiet then an automated voice said "goodbye" another number added to CallBlocker Pro
01929556393 called today at 3.35pm. I said “hello” three times, each time no response from the caller. I could hear noise in the background, sounded like chattering. Maybe a call centre? That’s CENTRE not CENTER, I’m British, not American. Annoying caller or just rude?
