I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.

SPAM - flagged by mobile as likely spam call. Caller introduced themselves as Vodafone, who I do not have a contract with and never have, so either a phishing attempt or if genuinely from Vodafone then unwanted marketing spam.
Exactly the same behavior as the Amazon call mentioned in another post, received this call in Brazil cellphone, cellphone also detected it as SPAM and the call dropped after answering.
