Fraud Indian call centre for bank frauds. Try to get card numbers and run up transactions which they tell you are 'cancelling frauds' but you are being tricked into allowing the payments. They have the old BT customer database, so have names, addresses and bank details from 10+ years back
Banking, claim to be from my bank royal bank of scotland and jsut a courtesy call .could be genuine . however when i questioned why you calling from a mobile. he did get nervous told me i could call the bank and they would confirm it genuine
SCAM ,this number called me and when I answered they said my virgin media had been hacked into and I needed to give them my info so they could sort it.Reported them,they then called my landline and my partners mobile.Persistent if nothing else.DONT EVEN ANSWER THIS NUMBER!!!

My phone showed me that is a fraud potential call, so I didn't answer it. Blocked it!
PHISHING Claimed to be PC World offering to upgrade my phone to latest Galaxy S21 unlimited everything calls, texts, data, international. Became very insistent when advised not interested. I had to discontinue call as would not take the hint.

Called saying i had two transactions against my visa card they believed were suspicious. One from amazon for a small amount and another for someone else for over 1k. asked me to press some buttons to agree or query these transactions, not a chance thanks.
Somebody purporting to be "Ellie from Options" texting me about my non-existent job application, asking for my address, email address, national insurance number, copies of passport, birth certificate, proof of national insurance, copy of my Cscs card (whatever that is!) back and front, 2 x working references. Fraud: Bank scam. Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). They hope you will be daft enough to talk to them so they can obtain your bank details. Why the Police and Telephone companies still allow these fraudsters to operate it beyond me.
HMRC scam. Says a letter was returned and legal action is imminent.
SCAM. Claims they ring from Catphone Warehouse but after googling phone number belongs to Radisons Dry Cleaning. Speaker barely can talk English and when I asked a question, he didn't understand it.

I have BT guardian which asks callers to announce who they are before I answer. Most sales calls hang up at that point, this one didn't. Lovely lady explained that I could have a half hour appointment to check energy efficiency of my home and advise of any improvements. I made the appointment. Very polite young man called Adam arrived, checked the loft and roof, looked around, discussed my energy payment per month. The information given was useful, nothing to sign, no sales pitch. I would have no worries.

Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.
When I asked who was calling please. The Asian sounding voice said "have a nice day, fuck you," then they rang off.
