Fraud This number is being used in an attempted fraud. I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.

Called and asked for very confidential information. I caught the scam and didnt give it to them. They are a danger to society and a threat to children. I am not free to reveal any more details but beware of this number.

They claimed to be from my bank (VM money was Yorkshre Bank) to ask me about potential fraud on my card. (£52 on Argos in Aberdeen) I was supicious when they got agressive when I didn't know my banking paswword and I said I would have to call them back. I called the fraud number I have in my phone (0800 121 4251) and they confirmed it wasn't them that called me before. The chap on the actual fraud line also said that the real bank won't ask for any part of or all your internet banking password EVER!

As this number is listed as a number in a region of Russia I am assuming it is a scam. I do not know anyone living in Russia!

I don't know think its safe I got a virus in my phone for a while and aI thought my Fb might be hacked ! I just went into my settings no where my WhatsApp was ,my own number was there . But where my FB was this number was there .and I have put soft ware in . I thought I deleted FB and re installed and no we I installed the installed the latest soft ware Amazon is not recognizing me .I have to re log in everywhere . It's a right pain. Indian 'lady' called saying they were Right Energy part of uk-talk offering wholesale energy rates. Asked where she was located, she said Birmingham. After stringing her along for 10 minutes I asked what was happening with the Bull Ring, she clearly did not know what I was talking about especially when I asked if that's where she gets the bullsh*t from. Then said she was in Kolkata (aka Calcutta) not Birmingham. Said that I was in London helping police with scam callers - phone went dead!

Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media (broadband internet). Standard scam pattern. Voices/accents from Indian subcontinent but claiming western names ("Daniel", "Robert", etc). Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.

SCAM Pretended to be O2, quoted the end of my own phone number they just called me on as 'proof' ???? Asked me if I had another number and something about a code, very hard to understand. As with other scam calls they don't speak until you say 'hello?'

Claimed to be from currys PC World but hung up Would say this was more dangerous than annoying based on another review. Obviously a scam caller and could easily be believed by an older or vulnerable person.

Fraud/scam - they were asking me to get in touch because of a 'case' with the magistrates. Trying to scare me.

Fraud Said they were from HSBC and wanted me to go through security. I said I'd call them back and at that point they gave me the genuine HSBC number (I said I'd look it up anyway). So I called the genuine number, 03457 404404, and wasted my time and HSBCs, as there was - surprise surprise - no suspicious activity on the account.
