I know the university does fundraising drives amongst alumni but these calls stress not just a nuisance but very intrusive. They called me 3 times a day for a month before I finally decided to answer the phone. I was very polite when they started telling me how they were not trying to lend me money, however they WERE offering a great rate on loans (uuummm???) so I managed to interrupt the lady and said that I was perfectly fine financially and had no need for a loan, and that my phone number must have been sold to them without my permission. I had a phone call of This number on Monday and the lovely lady on the other end of the phone spoke with such great manners, she said I could possibly be entitled to a free pension review and went through the criteria with me to my delight I did, she explained that someone had to come to my house and show me the liscence and legitimate documents, the courier came and was lovely I have realised I was getting over charged and switched my pension provider to some thing a lot cheaper?
