Fraud = scam call from India advising my BT internet had been compromised

An Indian sounding lady called to say I owed money on a three sim only contract with them. She claimed I had started a new contract with them in May. This was untrue as I had transferred my contract to Smarty when my contract had ended with them in June. Conversation got quite heated and I asked to speak to a manager. Called me claiming to be from Three and offering a discount. asked for my name dob and address. i asked why they needed it and they said for "verification". I gave completely made up details and passed their verification! This is clearly a scam number and whilst i dont know what the scam is they are lying about who they are and waht they are doing. SCAM

The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.

SCAM: A man claiming to from Medical Alert company, offering to sell me a personal alert alarm. A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). This scam is targeting disabled older people who may want an alarm.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to.
