Caller claimed to be VW Finance calling about an agreement. They couldn t tell me the reg no of the car they were calling about. Also didn t seem to know my name.

Said they were in my town (I live 200 miles from London) and they were doing energy saving. Asked if it was a "Green Deal" they said it was. Told them my opinion of it...

Spent 2 minutes on this call with a guy saying he was from tax office. He said I was hiding my tax money. It ended up with him threatening to come to my house tomorrow to collect. He also said I had to have 10 years receipts from anything I bought! A very aggressive caller! Beware!!

Just called saying they were from Nationwide, asked to confirm my postcode when I said its wrong he asked more questions, so i confronted him saying if your from my bank you would know this then he hung up. DO NOT GIVE THESE ANY INFO PLEASE

Recorded call re new boilers. Unwanted and disturbing. It requests you press 3 for more info or 9 "to be removed" - from what I m not sure.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. repeated calls from this number which I do not usually answer but on the 1 occasion I did it was a silent call. I phoned them to complain and asked to be removed from their data base. I subscribe to Telephone Preference Service but still get these nuisance calls

Unknown number not answered no message left. Search shows it as a telemarketer.

I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest
