PPI nuisance call with long delay on the line, hard to understand call agent.

Number called me then cut off after a few words "i'd like to speak to..." I called it back and received an automated message saying "Congratulations you have successfully installed...." I hung up at that point. Fortunately my phone is very old fashioned so is unlikely to have successfully installed anything.

This number has called me several times over the last couple of days. I phoned back today as it is a local number and actually got an answer John at Assist Financial. Looked this up and yet again it is another hard sell scamming PPI company. When will something be done about these low life harrassing companies. Also apparently, they are based in Wilmslow, so how do they get to use the local 01933 dial code? Or is this another development in the scammers armoury?

SCAM / SPAM False HMRC call asking to press 1 to connect or a warrant for your arrest will be issued and be arrested shortly! Haha its crazy

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.

I got a voicemail and said if I didn't call back, there would be a warrant for my arrest with HMRC. Obviously scared, I called HMRC who said there was nothing against my name as well as my company. They keep calling so not picking up as HMRC said it was a scam call.

Auto machine saying HMRC are will arrest me, unless I call back to seek help!

This is obviously a scam - claiming to be from btinternet. They reckon I have a problem with my btinternet (I don't have btinternet). After stringing him along for a few minutes, the caller became rude and hung up!

SCAM: caller never left a message when the answerphone kicked in. They put their phone down as soon as it did. Typical of scam callers. If they were genuine they would leave a message. Thank goodness for answerphones.

Reckoned they was tui after selling seats with extra leg room. Do not give card details over the phone, just contact your local tui shop and they will confirm it wasn’t them

Claimed to be British Gas my provider and then asked who my provider was.

Automated message in a creepy male voice stating its a warning that my bt broadband was about to be immediately disconnected and to wait to be connected to pay bill... I hung up, I'm not even with BT, but nice try morons! Called the number back and its non existent. No search on Google brings anything up for it either. Fed up with damn fake calls, close to pulling the home phone out of the socket for good

Fraud - tell you that HMRC have issued a warrant for your arrest and to press 1 then they leave the connection open at their end and charge you premium rates for the call. Please don't answer - people have lost up to £300 pressing 1 and then they continually try you on different numbers every day after this. This should have been stopped long ago by the authorities - it's a disgrace that it hasn't been.

Fraud BT call. Message says BT line will be closed if no action taken.
