I was called by this number at 08:18 this morning by someone claiming to be "Amazon Prime" (recorded message) and invited to be transferred to cancel a subscription ('press 1'). The person then asked for my details and, when questioned, told me that it is not possible to contact Amazon directly or my bank over this. The conversation stank so I discontinued the call.
Aggressive type call claiming to be from CPW trying sign me up for a contract. Just loud and rude, and then same person calls me from a london number the next day!!

Opus staff continue to harass me for a balance allegedly owed to NPower. (NPower wrote to me, confirming that their bills using estimated meter readings were inaccurate, & that I owed NOTHING> However, Opus continue to phone me & did so again today. Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

Called a few times. Initially I answered. Chap said hello then line went dead. Not sure whether they wanted me to call back. But I didn t. Sounded like busy call centre from what I could gather first couple of times. Now blocked.Fed up with folk like this..no doubt pretending to be from EE (had that a LOT).
This number rang three times today and a missed call from previous. No message left on missed call and when I answered the others there was a noise in the background like an office and then cut off.
This guy has been sexual harrasing me it is really upsetting. The stuff he says makes me want to cry. It is completely vile and disgusting.
I answered and no one spoke- I could hear it was a busy call centre environment and so I hung up. It seems suspicious but I don't know for sure.

It may be nothing but better to be safe.
