This is a very persistent company, or their records are v poor. They have called several times on consecutive days - verging on harassment.

This number keeps ringing me but I have no idea who it is. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers either and they never leave a message.

Said his name was James Walker. telling me I have unsecured debt. buckled when I started asking him questions and hung up. asking about my finances and from his accent clearly gave a false name, when I asked what company he was calling from he said it isn t a company it the consumer awareness line, but this does not exist. SCAMMING for bank details!!

Upon answering a call on the land line around 18:30 this evening, the caller hung up so out of curiosity I dialled 1471 (UK), the call back service and I pressed 3 on my phone to be put directly through to the missed call number. I didn t catch the receivers company name but heard a American or maybe Canadian Man s accent and instructions for extension required. Got an automated message about being able to right of debt provided you can afford ?70 per month. As pointed out this is a new number for a new year. Don t answer just block.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed).
