We subscribe to a telephone preference service yet received a call from this number that we do not recognise

Received a call from this number today on my mobile asking for me by name. When I asked who was calling he refused to tell me before I confirmed who I was. I hung up.

keep getting calls from this number on my mobile but always silence when i answer. Have tried ringing back but never get a ringing tone and always get cut off almost immediately.

This number has rung twice when you answer no one speaks

I got called by an irish woman, knew my name and said she was calling from some company i didnt quite catch the name of.

They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Received call from this number, robotic female voice asking about my accident - terminated call.

Been getting 4 to 6 calls a day from this number. Don t answer after seeing other comments but am really fed up with these phone vermin.

Called six times now in the space of an hour, I can hear the chaos of a call centre in the background but the caller doesn’t speak, call terminates at their end after about ten seconds. Annoyance blocked.
