I blocked the number but they somehow manage to leave answer machine messages where they just hang up. This has happened every day for a week, since I blocked the number.

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. If they are, perhaps others will not follow their example. I do not worry for myself, but people who fall for their smooth talking. Scammer claiming to be from HMRC pretending that there is a tax fraud case against me

Someone from Calcutta or Bombay asking about the PPI I have been miss sold

A man called, asking to speak to me (so knew my mobile number and name) and said he was from some pensions advisor service. Same questions as previous calls, was I aware of recent pension changes in the law etc. I was a bit vague so he said he would pass me onto a senior advisor at which point I hung up.
