This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This number phoned me on Tuesday 28th March 2023 at 2:31pm. I answered but after 6 seconds they hung up without speaking. My smartphone has categorised this number as spam.
