Informed me that I had been in an accident recently. I said "no, I haven't. Where did you get my number from?" The reply was "when exactly was your accident?...
I get calls from this number on my mobile which only ever rings once, then caller hangs up.

Total scam. Sounds like a genuine call with the professional voice, but no they are NOT going to be disconnecting my internet due to illegal activity.... Hang up and block.

A voice from this number told me that my national insurance nunber had been cancelled and that i had been involved in illegal activity - i havent! Therefore when it also told me i was going to be arrested unless i pressed number 1 i knew it was a scam!
Claimed to be from Domestic & General Insurance, but claearly wasn't - wanted bank details to renew a policy.

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! Received an unsolicited call from this number which is probably spoofed. A recorded message claimed it was the National Fraud Office and that my National Insurance number had been cancelled due to fraudulent activities. I immediately ended the call at that point and performed a Google search on the number.
