Had a text from this number at 2:30 am saying I was subscribed to WopWappy. My ee account has been billed £9 in total for two texts from this number so I asked ee to block third party charges on my account but I wont be getting my 9 quid back as I have to contact the company who billed me for that WopWappy. I believe it was an Indian guy, called yesterday saying people were using our internet. Tried making me visit a site that said it was risky to go to and told us to turn off out internet and computer for 2 hours. Next day today, around the same time as before got a call, sounded like the same person, saying he was from Virgin Media and wouldn't really answer our(me and my mothers) questions. Continued to tell us to visit a website, and after a half and hour calling trying to see what our back accounts were.
Said it was HMRC and to ring them back to avoid further legal problems. When the message stopped I heard a distorted mans voice in the background slightly before it hung up.
