Picked this up on a missed call. As it was a local number I wasn't concerned. Message left stating that a payment to Western Union had been requested for £1000 +. This is obviously a cloned number. Number not recognised on ringing back. Will report to Fraud unit.

SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.

I didn't recognise the whole number but knew the local code so I answered. It's Rapid Entry Rescue phoning me after one of their guys actually got me in my cat after I locked the keys inside!
They called and disconnected, after a few seconds the same number sent the following text message: "You are a worthless father who doesn't deserve kids, when is the last time you called your daughter loose" (07495498649)

It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.
Spoke to a gentleman who called from this number. Sounded middle eastern. Was very polite and respectful, He asked me if I could send him video of me having sex with a pig. I told him I would not feel right violating his wife. He laughed wildly and hung up!
Some indian guy claiming to be from a quality center clqiming that I had registered at some trading platform. I was absolutely sure I hadn't registered on the site by mistake as all my information was there. Funny enough he could not give me the date of my supposed registration! Information 07355 118732 sent me a text message. HSBC: Direct Debit successfully set up to EE for 183GBP, if this was NOT YOU call us on 01313785729. I don`t bank with HSBC, but anyway, tried to call the number given. This just rings for a couple of minutes then get a message saying the mailbox is full. Therefore, both the mobile and landline numbers given are SPAM.

Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam. IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later, and usually using a different number! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you've just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

This pervert was sending disgusting text messages to my partner over a period of months despite the number being blocked, he used different apps to bypass. When challenged he blocked me without any response. How he got my partner’s number is still a cloudy one, but we in the Trans community do not make a habit of encouraging men to “slap us in the face with a (male chicken)” as a form of alarm clock. Sorry people, but do not trust this face slapping male chicken wearing micro penis. “Slapping” is wishful.
