Hard to know whether or not this was a scam call though it had some hallmarks. The caller's voice sounded like someone who phoned from a different number only yesterday and the MO was similar. She asked to speak with Mrs N (my mother) and when I said she wasn't available she couldn't get off the phone quickly enough; refused to share the name of the organisation she was calling from and said she'd get someone to call later. I don't think this is the way legit businesses operate. I blocked the number.

getting calls from this number at least 10 times a day - seems to be a computer that calls you. I have tried pressing option to speak to a human who say they can t remove you. I have also pressed option 9 to be removed, doesn t seem to work. This number I think is for different companies, as each time the recorded message is different - cold calling

Two calls from these CLINTS today so far. Silence when I answered. These ass holes are blighting my landline. If I started calling a random person and doing this BT would trace the calls and the police, quite rightly, would be down on me like a ton of bricks. I m a little person you see. I am expected to obey the law and pay my taxes or face the consequences. The law doesn t apply to big business though. They can do what they like and the government does sod all about it. I have been called on numerous occasions throughout the day from the number originating from Doncaster. I have no connection with Doncaster personally or work related. I have checked all policies held and none correspond. Probably easier to answer the call to confirm but this has the feel of a scam/cold call.

recorded womans voice saying that due to illegal activity my internet connection would be cut off in 24 hours and saying to press 1 to speak to their chief executive, which of course I did not. second call in less that an hour. There has not been any illegal activity on my internet connection and I am certain if there had been then my internet provider would have contacted me directly.
