They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. The staff who call have no idea, nor choice of who they ring as the system selects a number at random from their data, and only when the line opens do they see your name and address etc. They are legitimate in terms of what they are offering (a free hearing frequency test at your local football club/hotel) however, if you will receive any money should a claim be successful is questionable. Gave her name and the name of the company then said they were asking householders to take part in a survey, at which point I interrupted her with a two-word response. The thing is I m registered with the TPS and shouldn t receive calls like this.

They asked about a car accident that want my fault. I asked where they got my number from and he gave me some nonsense about the rta department . Which obviously doesn t exist. Then the man seemed annoyed with me and hung up. I never did find out how he got my number.

Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.

Called six times now in the space of an hour, I can hear the chaos of a call centre in the background but the caller doesn’t speak, call terminates at their end after about ten seconds. Annoyance blocked.

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings.
