This is a SCAM. The call started with a woman stating she was from Virgin Media and had noted problems with my router; asked if I had also noticed this. I said I hadn't. She said she could help me resolve the problem. I told her she couldn't, not least because I wasn't with Virgin Media. She told me she could help because all the providers' support centres were working together on this. I told her 'nice try' and hoped the weather was good in Delhi, or wherever she was 'phoning from. Then I hung up.

Despite registration with the TPS, I had two cold calls about an alleged car accident in which I was involved but I do not own a car and certainly was not involved in an accident on the date claimed. The caller claimed to be from a company called Solicitors Law Firm and to have got details of my alleged accident from the UK National Traffic Department but as far as I can ascertain neither organisation exists. They witheld their phone number but claimed to be calling from 01527 821239.
very agressive behaviour.....rude...arrogant...and all the other words... just ignore the number if it appears on your phone...dont bother answering....you will regret you did.

She did give a company name but I couldn t get it. wouldn t say what it concerned just kept insisting on information regarding my number and my address. Said nothing was being sold but if it was just a survey the attitude was terrible!

It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. Received call - Automated message - they are going to suspend my NI number because of suspicious activity - please press 1 to sort out (words to that effect) Quite a funny one really - possibly also 07983144545 and 07983146153 and 07983146926 - all tried to ring me today.
