Two different people have called me from this company over the past week, both pretending to be from EE and wanting to upgrade my "business contract" (I don t have one). I told them I wasn t interested but they were still quite aggressively selling, so I hung up and have now blocked the number.
Answered 'phone immediately, but seller hung up. Not a clue who it was, or what it was about-I assume an automated random dialing that dropped the call, and should be reported as such. The other reports have left no comment, so I presume they had the same 'silent' treatment.
ROBOCALL - I terminated the call after the tell-tale pause for connection and chipper "hello how are you" BS

received 3 times calls from this number 01312002386 stating that they work for the housing association, renting flats to people in need. got an address from them which turned to be a fake address: the property does not exist

SCAM. Called to talk about my insurance claim from a car crash 2 years ago, not had a claim in 50 years so they then asked if it could have been a family member.
auto voice message purported to be about automatic "renewal of my Amazon Prime Account".. (quoted cost of £79.99) and then requested I press number 1 if I do not wish to renew and speak to a manager in order to cancel acct... although I have no such account with "Amazon Prime"

Asked to speak to the MD and when I asked who the company was she was calling from and what it was regarding she was rude and snapped why do you want to know, he will know? I told her to leave her name and number as it just felt like a scammer.
This company is very aggressive and uses several tactics purporting to be an energy supplier or meter registration dept. They are energy consultants without qualms and trying to scare end users into agreeing a contract over the phone by saying that they are on extortionate out of contract rates, etc. Best way to deal with these people is to say you have signed a long-term contract and therefore not interested in their services. Claim to be from visa fraud department. I ask them to tell me the last 4 digits of the card they were referring to and they hung up
Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet.
