They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined. Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.
Silent call - rang twice within a couple of minutes. Number now blocked & reported to Ofcom.
This number keeps ringing my mobile number two or more times a day even rings at ridiculous times of day really early morning like 8am and late at nite like others when answered...

This number has appeared on our answerphone but they did not leave any message. After this lookup I have blocked the number as it looks like another case of blocks of telephone numbers being sold offto con men. This number traced back to be from Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh in India. I really wish whoever allows these call centres, confidence tricksters and plain old Criminals to purchase these blocks of numbers could be reprimanded and even charged with aiding and abetting whatever crime they are used for. Called and an automated but very convincing message said she was calling because I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault (I haven t). The script is timed to coincide with your answer, most likely a phishing or other scam to get personal details.
This is the first call from this number. I didn't answer it because it don't know the identity of the caller. Must be a nuisance call as no voicemail was left.
