Hard to hear call apparently about an accident I had recently. I ended the call.
SPAM - Claimed to be from a trading company and said that I had registered interest online (which I haven't). Hung up on me when I asked for him to spell out the name of the trading company. Seemed suspicious.
Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Came up as international then with an obvious spoof copycat area number. Glasgow isn t international if you are in Scotland. Not a problem- now blocked all international numbers using call blocker. Phone is on do not disturb 24/7 so if you aren t recognised then you don t get through. Heads I win, tails I win.

SCAMMER: Indian, female voice said that there had been illegal activity on my internet line. Said she was from BT and that somebody had conducted illegal activity and it was recorded on their server. Played a long for a little while then let the scamming witch know what she is.

SCAM / SPAM I have just received a badly put together automated call from this number claiming to be HM Customs & Revenue and that there is currently an ongoing tax fraud investigation being carried out on me. It wanted me to press 1 on my keypad to speak to someone and said that if I did not do this an immediate arrest warrant would be issued in my name. Needless to say I ended the call, reported it and blocked the number.

Lad with indian accent offering a mobile phone offer on behalf of Carphone Warehouse. No idea if legit, said I was not interested and we both bid goodbye.
I said we weren t interested in going through a broker. "We are not a broker." Ended up asking them under the GDPR to remove my details and to stop calling.

Claimed to be from Postcode lottery saying I’d won a discount card for supermarkets and that I’d also won a free flight to anywhere in the world. Passed call to her senior who wanted to “activate” the discount credit card and said needed to deposit £1.00 into my account to activate the account. Told her I knew she was scamming me for my bank details and hung up!
Has called a few times but hangs up as soon as answered.
