Answered the call but they hung up without speaking.

Fraud - Number is definitely NOT from the Russian Federation - It is a UK based mobile number running on the EE network. When answered, a very bad automated message advising that there has been fraud on your National Insurance Number. All assets will be suspended and you will be arrested! Press 1 to speak to a Police Officer??? I don't think!!! I have never heard so much rubbish in my entire life!!!

I got a call from this number regarding PPI. I told the caller I wasnt interested & put the phone down. He then RANG ME BACK & demanded to know why Id hung up on him when I hadnt heard what he had to say. I told him I still wasnt interested but he persisted so I just kept saying ovet & over Im not interested until he lost his temper & hung up. Victory for me!!!

I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. I have reported the call to Ofcom as a silent call causing annoyanc

Asian telephoned my aging mother in law nearly every week about some sort of consumer survey. Would not identify himself or his company, admitted to calling from S.E.Asia. Caller knows I ve applied for power of attorney for my husband ? HOW ?? Reason for call - my husband may be due for refund PIP. Said he ll call back in one month when power of attorney should be completed !! This number has now been blocked on my phone. I won t get involved with unsolicited phone calls.
