Today I have received a call from the same number on my mobile, which is a consecutive number to the OH s mobile number. No way I would call an 0843 number for a service I wanted never mind for one I don t know about.

Received call apparently from a bot at Santander, on a mobile number I had given them. It appeared to know my name & day/month of birth, and details of two recent transactions I made on the account. It asked for only very limited information (year of birth) and confirmation that the transactions were genuine (they were). So, probably OK.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181895xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Accident Department, Microsoft rep, MCM Solicitors from Manchester, road traffic accident, PPI... Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Constant calls from this number, have answered a couple only to met with nonsense. Have also been left voicemails by someone named 'Ricky' asking me to help him 'out'. Becoming very tedious.
