Call received at 12-Sep-2019 13:30 from bank claiming a transaction was made from a foreign country and invited to press 1 (one) to cancel this transaction. This is a scam using re-direction to other line incurring high connection and call costs.

My real complaint is that I have a new number as my old number is now my business line , they do not ring that though just my new one and no one has been given that apart from family and close friends !!So how did they get it ?

Who in their right mind would do business or give bank details over the phone, and to a unknown voice at an office or house with no address? You don t know these people, you don t know their location, you don t know their reputation, you don t even know what country they are ringing from!This is just telephone SPAM. SCAM Persistent automated calls claiming to be from 'your internet provider' (immediately an obvious scam as your own internet provider would identify themselves!) then threatens disconnection due to illegal activity on the account. Presume will then attempt to extort money, but don't listen to call beyond the first bit.
I received a call from this number but, when answered, there was no one there. When I redialed, I found it was unobtainable. I am presuming it was a PPi/accident claim line type nuisance call
