Received three calls this morning. First, claiming to be from BT calling about my internet service. Second, silence when I answer. Third, claiming to be from TalkTalk and claiming that my internet will be shut down in 24 hours and my internet has been hacked by foreigners. I requested their full name and received no answer. I ended the call.

I had a silent call (on 15/5/15)& as I was expecting a call from unknown people on this area code, I used 1471 and phoned back. I heard a recorded message "You were called today by Media Match. The cal was not important and we will try again later. Goodbye" A Google search for Media Match shows a US firm with this name, but on websites similar to this one they claim that they do not cold-call and that their name is being mis-used. Definitely a scam, automated call stating my National Insurance number was at risk of being put on hold due to it being linked to illegal activity.
